Sealing MDF
Sealing MDF is not 100% necessary for crafting, but LaserworksUK highly recommended that you do so, as this will allow you to get the best possible finish when decorating your crafts. We do recommend that you seal all the mdf surfaces and especially the edges, using a diluted pva glue or primer prior to painting.
You can use most paints and sprays to decorate including Furniture paints, Emulsions and Acrylic sprays and Acrylic paints.
Acrylic paints will give you the best possible finish it is easy to apply and mix colours. A little paint goes a long way.
Make sure you sand between coats with a 240 grit sandpaper or higher.
Application with a foam brush or roller will give you the best finish with outstanding results.

Mickey Mouse Style Head Outline Shapes
These craft Mickey Mouse Style Head Outline Shapes are used by crafters for creating hanging Macramé decorations to decorate Children's Nursery's, Bedrooms and Playrooms.
These Head Outline Shapes are made from 3mm Medite MDF. It’s the perfect craft Outline shape to brighten up any room.
MDF is a perfect material to use for all your crafting projects as its surface takes paints, stains, decoupage and embellishments once sealed. Allowing you to make unique, homemade decorations.
We can cut hanging holes in these shapes for you - Please leave a note with your order.

Once decorated to your liking, you can end up with some stunning Hanging Mobile results. We also sell Cloud Outline Shapes these are also used for creating children's hanging mobiles.
If you do require a larger Mickey Mouse Head? please know that anything over the largest size of 300mm will require shipping via a courier, and this also reflect on the price of the item because of the size of the package.

MDF Cut Edges
MDF Cut Edges
Laser Cutting: The laser cutting process will leave a medium brown finish to the edges of the MDF after the laser cutting process has finished. Any laser processing marks to the top and bottom of the mdf can be removed by using a light grade sandpaper or by simply painting over them.
CNC Cutting: If your item was cut on one of our CNC router machine you will have no burnt edges, the edges will be clean and ready for you decorate.
