Sealing MDF
Sealing MDF is not 100% necessary for crafting, but LaserworksUK highly recommended that you do so, as this will allow you to get the best possible finish when decorating your crafts. We do recommend that you seal all the mdf surfaces and especially the edges, using a diluted pva glue or primer prior to painting.
You can use most paints and sprays to decorate including Furniture paints, Emulsions and Acrylic sprays and Acrylic paints.
Acrylic paints will give you the best possible finish it is easy to apply and mix colours. A little paint goes a long way.
Make sure you sand between coats with a 240 grit sandpaper or higher.
Application with a foam brush or roller will give you the best finish with outstanding results.

Delivery is via Royal Mail's 24 or 48 hour services. Delivered is normally within 1 to 2 working days. Orders are shipped the same day if you order before 2pm, but at busy times this can take up to 24 hours. Orders placed after the cut off time will be shipped the next working day. This Heart Shape Family tree is a beautiful design that has long wavy roots.
The Family Tree has been Laser cut from Premier MDF. Using Medite MDF for your crafting projects is perfect for adding paints, stains, decoupage and embellishments to. Allowing you to make unique, homemade designs. Ideal for crafters to decorate when using for Family Trees, framing at weddings and are ideal if you are passing on as a gift.
We also include 10 Free Hearts, Scroll banner and a Family Word Script Name with each family tree ordered. eg so you would receive 3 x tree’s, 3 x Scroll banner, 30 free Hearts and 3 x Family script words.

MDF Cut Edges
MDF Cut Edges
Laser Cutting: The laser cutting process will leave a medium brown finish to the edges of the MDF after the laser cutting process has finished. Any laser processing marks to the top and bottom of the mdf can be removed by using a light grade sandpaper or by simply painting over them.
CNC Cutting: If your item was cut on one of our CNC router machine you will have no burnt edges, the edges will be clean and ready for you decorate.
